John also acted in Cork in August 1781 and in Limerick in August 1782. The Hibernian Journal on 14 July 1784 reported the marriage of John Edwards and a Miss Emerson at Portarlington, Offaly, Ireland. Both were described as "of the theatre," and after their marriage they pursued parallel acting careers. The Mr Edwards who had been active in London from 1777 to 1781 disappeared from the playbills there during the early 1780s, Page 17 when we know John Edwards was busy in Ireland. On 10 February 1785 a Mr Edwards, again probably John, acted a principal role in The Fair Refugee and Young Cape in The Author at the Haymarket Theatre in London.

On 5 January 1678 Daniell Maedeus petitioned against Edward Eastland for £9 10s. In addition to serving the King's Company as bookkeeper, Eastland acted, though the only role known for him is Garbato, a small part in The Amorous Old Woman. The play was presented between December 1673 and February 1674 when the troupe was playing at the Lincoln's Inn Fields Theatre. The last mention of Eastland in the records was on 23 June 1679, when he was still listed by the Lord Chamberlain as a member of the King's Company.

Doane described Eason as a bassprobably a basso, though perhaps he was a player on the bass viol. Eastland, Mrs [fl. 16611671], actress. The Lord Chamberlain's accounts show Mrs Eastland as a member of the King's Page 2 Company at the Vere Street Theatre on 27 March 1661, so it is probable that the prompter John Downes was correct in saying she was one of the original seven actresses in the company.
